Travis Johnson has defined himself as a liabilty. His play is marginable. His undisciplined and illtimed antics have cost the Texans. Most recently the late hits during the Colts game."HOUSTON -- Houston Texans defensive tackle Travis Johnson was fined $5,000 by the National Football League after being flagged for unnecessary roughness in the Texans loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Johnson acknowledges hitting Colts tight end Bryan Fletcher in the third quarter after the whistle blew but says the whole thing was an accident.
"I didn't go out there to purposely hurt anybody," said Johnson in an interview with FOX 26 Sports. "I am just out there playing hard.
"I was in the air when the whistle blew. You win some, and you lose some." FOX 26 here
Note to Travis: There is room on the roster for players of greater ability. You are not good enough to get a pass as a loose cannon.
